The schematic continues the natural daylight of the atrium, utilizing orderly arranged metal components to outline a framework of refined "Yanhuoqi" (urban vibrancy). The material selection echoes urban memory, incorporating gray bricks—homogenous to the site’s historical fabric—to enclose "courtyard" spaces imbued with Beijing's distinct charm.
The core visual elements trace back to the caisson (Zaojing) star maps of Longfu Temple: the traditional circular caisson is deconstructed into an elliptical form better suited to the site's scale, while the central nebula map is rotated 45 degrees and superimposed. Through this geometric transformation, the profound artistic conception of Longfu Temple is reshaped, achieving a dialogue across time between history and modernity.
